Take a local bus to Mitsui Outlet Park Shiga Ryuo from JR Yasu Station or JR Omi-Hachiman Station. By car, exit the Meishin Expressway at Ryuo IC and follow Route 477.

TICKETS / REGISTRATION

Sky lanterns can be reserved via the booking form. Same-day sign-up is also available at the P7 site until the planned number is reached. Payment is in cash on the day.

Hands-on corners

• Working vehicles: Self-Defense Forces and police vehicles plus an excavator to see and sit in (excavator ride is paid)
• Sports: mini games with volleyball team Toray Arrows Shiga, joined by mascot Arocchi
• Animals: micro pigs, reptiles and insects (paid)
• Fair: super-ball scooping and more

Bad weather

• If 3 October is rained off, only the sky lanterns move to Sunday 4 October; the expo and other activities are cancelled
• If the 4th is also unsuitable, the lanterns are cancelled too
• Updates are posted on the Mitsui Outlet Park Shiga Ryuo website

Inside the outlet

• A lottery using outlet receipts runs at Center Court, South Mall 1F
