Why You Should Visit

The Autumn Chekipan Fes, now in its 7th edition, brings around 20 Shiga bakeries to Blumen Hügel farm park in Hino. On the same day, & COFFEE FES. lines up six coffee roasters from Otsu, Omihachiman, Nagahama and Kusatsu, so you can pick up bread on the lawn and a cup by the pond in one visit. There's also a sticker rally where buying bread earns you collectible can badges, plus a photo booth. The fair itself is free — you only pay park admission, and dogs are welcome with their own ticket. A relaxed autumn day out for families, bread lovers and coffee fans.
