cost: Park admission: adults (junior high and up) ¥1,500 / children (age 4 to elementary school) ¥800 / age 3 and under free / dogs ¥500 each. Food is paid for separately at each stall.
Venue & access: Shiga Agricultural Park Blumen Hügel (Blume no Oka), Hino (Shiga) From Ohmi Railway Hino Station, take the Ohmi Bus bound for Kitahataguchi (about 15 min), get off at Habano-cho and walk about 10 min. By car, about 20 min from Yokaichi IC on the Meishin Expressway (free parking for about 2,000 cars).

Why You Should Visit

Ten burger shops and food trucks gather for two days at Blumen Hügel, the farm park in Hino, Shiga. Each brings one signature burger: A5-grade Omi beef and Matsusaka beef patties, a burger free of the eight major allergens and gluten, and an Omi beef burger with a sauce made from Hino-na, the town's local turnip green, developed by the park restaurant's head chef. On Sunday 22 November, competitive-eating idol Moe no Azuki performs a mini live show and reports on the food. Four fries stalls also take part. Entry is covered by park admission, making it an easy day out for families and burger fans.

Is there a festival fee on top of park admission?

No, park admission covers the festival area. Burgers and fries are bought at each stall.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes. Dogs enter for ¥500 each. Show certificates for combination and rabies vaccinations given within the past year at reception; dogs without them cannot enter.

Does it go ahead in the rain?

It is cancelled in severe weather. Check the Blumen Hügel website or Instagram on the day.
