Why You Should Visit
A one-day guided walking tour of the historic buildings scattered across the Mt. Rokko summit, led by a registered architect. The route takes in the Vories Rokko Sanso and Murotani House, the Rokkosan Silence Resort that carries on the former Rokkosan Hotel, and the Chapel of the Wind, with lunch served inside the old hotel building. Stretches between the sites are walked on hiking paths, so you get the mountain air and the views along with the architecture. Limited to 25 people per day, on four Thursdays between 15 October and 12 November.
