Why You Should Visit

A six-day food festival that brings popular gourmet sellers from Rakuten Ichiba, Japan's largest online marketplace, to Ogimachi Park in Osaka. Twenty-five food booths from all over Japan serve their signature dishes on site, from a towering stack of hamburg steaks and shrimp gyoza to curry noodles, mentaiko omelette rice burgers and ice-cream monaka. Entry is free, and purchases count toward a stamp rally that rewards six stamps with Rakuten points and Shopping Panda goods. The park is a one-minute walk from Ogimachi Station and has plenty of space to sit, so it works well for families and for a casual food crawl over the long weekend.

A 1-minute walk from Ogimachi Station on the Osaka Metro Sakaisuji Line (5 minutes from JR Temma Station on the Osaka Loop Line). By car, the park's No. 1 car park has 99 spaces (7:00–23:00, daytime maximum 1,700 yen).

There are 12 car parks within a 12-minute walk of Ogimachi Park, and 1 public restrooms within 8 minutes. The map shows each with its walking time.

Gacha quest: one sticker per ¥1,000 (tax incl.) spent at a food booth, and one per completed task at sponsor booths (SmartNews, Rakuten Mobile, etc.). Every 5 stickers earns one no-lose gacha draw at the Shopping Panda booth (Rakuten STAY hotel coupons, giant plush toys and more)
Panda appearances: Sep 20 (Sun) and Sep 21 (Mon) at 11:00, 13:00, 15:00, 16:00 and 17:00

Is entry free?

Entry is free and no reservation is needed. Food and drinks are bought at each stall.

How does the stamp rally work?

You earn one stamp for every 2,000 yen (tax included) spent in eligible categories at the venue or on the event page. Six stamps earn 2,000 Rakuten points and Shopping Panda goods. Full details are on Rakuten's event page.

Is it suitable for families with children?

The venue is Ogimachi Park, with space to sit and eat. The Shopping Panda mascot appears on some days, so it is an easy event to enjoy with children.

Is it held in the rain?

The venue is an outdoor park. The official page does not state a bad-weather policy, so check Rakuten's event page for the latest status on rainy days.
