Venue & access: ATVK Special Event Venue (Art & Technology Village Kyoto) By car: About 3 min from the Oyamazaki IC/JCT, along National Route 171 (free, 60-space parking lot). By train: About 20 min walk from JR Yamazaki Station or Hankyu Oyamazaki Station. *Main gate entrance is on the west side only (not accessible from the east side Maxell Corporation entrance). Right turns are prohibited both entering (from the Osaka direction) and exiting; entry is left-turn only from the Kyoto direction.

Why You Should Visit

A new community festival launches at the Art & Technology Village Kyoto (ATVK) in Oyamazaki. Enjoy bon-odori dancing led by the Nishiyama Ondo Preservation Society, a kids' stage, the "Mizu to Tsuchi" market selling local vegetables and seafood, and food trucks from popular local eateries. Fresh draft beer straight from the Suntory Kyoto Brewery rounds out this family-friendly evening in a warm, wood-built venue.

Can I drive there?

There's a 60-space parking lot along National Route 171. Note that the main gate is on the west side only, and right turns from the Osaka direction are not permitted. Drivers will not be served alcohol.

Is it held in bad weather?

It goes ahead in light rain. The program and site layout may change, and any cancellation in severe weather is posted on the ATVK event page shortly before the day.
