Why You Should Visit

Kyoto Prefecture's largest farm, forestry and fisheries event fills Kyoto Pulse Plaza for two days. Running since 1970, it reaches its 54th edition in 2026. Around 100 booths from farmers, fishers and local groups sell Kyoto vegetables, Kyoto-raised beef, Kyoto jidori chicken, eggs, seafood, Uji tea, flower seedlings and regional processed foods. The stage hosts a tuna-cutting show with Kyoto-landed tuna, and hands-on corners offer woodworking, pressed-seaweed art and Kyoto-vegetable origami. It is all indoors, so it works in any weather and suits families and anyone who wants to stock up on Kyoto produce in one place.
