Why You Should Visit

A one-day sake festival at Hokoku Shrine inside Osaka Castle Park, pouring around 40 labels from 13 breweries across Osaka Prefecture. The core is a sake bar lined with breweries from every corner of the prefecture — Akishika, Amanosake, Goshun, Naniwa Masamune and more — plus a temperature-controlled hot-sake bar. Osaka sake bars run snack booths, local sake-rice growers are showcased and thanked in a short ceremony. Ticket sets run from a 2,000-yen taster to an 8,000-yen group pack, and an English guided tour for overseas visitors is planned. A compact way to get a handle on Osaka sake in one go.
