Why You Should Visit

A night market held inside the arcade of Marugo Ichiba, a Nagata shopping street that opened in 1918. On Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 16:00 to 20:00, craft stalls, workshops, a kids' festival corner and live music fill the arcade alongside seven of the market's resident shops — yakisoba, boiled gyoza, seafood chijimi, Myanmar curry, Korean kimchi, shochu and beer. Four hours of walking the arcade end to end, eating and drinking a little at a time.
