Why You Should Visit
A one-day local festival thrown by LOFTMAN, the Kyoto select shop, to mark 50 years since it opened in 1976. Billed as "a local fest made by the town's clothing store", it fills Rissei Hiroba in Kawaramachi with apparel brands, food stalls from restaurants and cafes, and a magazine stall among others. The four themes are fashion, music, food and community, and LOFTMAN FES-only items are on sale at the venue. Worn Wear also runs a repair event. Free to enter, so it is easy to drop by while shopping in Kawaramachi.
