Why You Should Visit

Three events overlap on one evening in the old town of Hojo in Kasai. Around Honcho-dori, Hojo Machi Bar brings out restaurants from across the city with music alongside; around Otabicho-dori, Hojo Conne lines up food trucks, baked goods, craft stalls and hands-on booths. A live set plays on the bridge in the car park of Aeon Mall Kasai Hojo. You walk the old streets and eat and drink your way around.

The Machi Bar area runs from the Honcho crossing at the entrance to Aeon Mall Kasai Hojo as far as the crossing by OChanoMa. Hojo Conne sits just north of it around Otabicho-dori, reaching up towards Otoshi Shrine and HOJO MACHI HOSTEL. Parking is available at Aeon Mall Kasai Hojo.

Advance tickets are available. How to buy them and the price are announced by Kasai City. It is run by the Hojo Machi Bar executive committee.

Are the three events in one place?

All are in and around the Hojo old town and Aeon Mall Kasai Hojo, within walking distance of each other. Machi Bar is around Honcho-dori and Conne around Otabicho-dori.

Hojo Machi Bar moves to Sunday 4 October, 16:00–21:00. Nothing has been announced for Hojo Conne or the bridge live, so check the day's notices before setting out.
