Price & booking: Admission and the try-out booths are free, with a few paid programmes. Entering the beach YOU.FO tournament costs 15,000 yen for a three-player team, 18,000 yen for four, 20,000 yen for five, or 5,000 yen for an individual entry. No advance booking has been announced for watching or trying the sports. To enter the beach YOU.FO tournament, apply through the Japan YOU.FO Association's entry form by 23:59 on Sunday, September 27, 2026. Teams are mixed-gender with three to five players, and at least one man and one woman must be on court at all times. Individual entries are also accepted.
Venue & access: Suma Beach, Suma Ward, Kobe The venue is Suma Beach, just across from JR / Sanyo Suma Station on the south side. By car, use the paid car parks around Suma Beach; the organisers have not yet published parking information.

Why You Should Visit

For two days, the sand at Suma Beach turns into a full-scale sports ground. Nine disciplines are staged side by side — beach volleyball, beach tennis, slackline, beach molkky, beach handball, beach korfball, frescobol, beach athletics and beach YOU.FO — while beach soccer, beach sumo and air badminton are offered at hands-on booths. Entry and the try-out booths are free (a few programmes charge), so you can simply watch the matches or step onto the sand yourself. In 2026 an internationally sanctioned tournament of YOU.FO, a new sport from the Netherlands, is held on the same beach.

Does it cost anything just to watch?

Admission is free. The try-out booths are free as well, though the organisers note that a few programmes charge a fee.

Can children and beginners try the sports?

Try-out booths are set up for beach soccer, beach sumo, air badminton and more. The beach YOU.FO taster is open from age six and runs three to five minutes per turn, with ring rallies and a strike-out game.

Is a timetable available?

As of August 2026 the schedule map on the official site is still in preparation, so per-sport times have not been announced. The site as a whole runs from 9:00 to 17:00 on both days.
