A two-day music-and-food event on the Suma waterfront. Over 30 food trucks and tent booths fill BE KOBE Plaza, with live sets by local artists on August 8 and a kids' dance stage on August 9. Eat, drink and listen to free live music with the sea in front of you. It sits right by the beach, so it works as a stop on the way back from swimming or from Kobe Suma Sea World — an easy summer seaside market whether you come with family or on your own.

Do I need a ticket or reservation?

Admission is free and no reservation is needed. Food and activities are charged at each booth.

Is it good for families with kids?

August 9 has a kids' dance stage, and food trucks and sweets booths run on both days. It's an open seaside plaza, so it's easy to get around with a stroller.

What happens if it rains?

It's held in an outdoor plaza, so the program may change or be cancelled in bad weather. Same-day updates are posted on the organizer's official Instagram.

Is there parking?

The park's paid parking is available, but it fills up during the summer beach season. JR Suma-Kaihin-Koen Station is about a 5-minute walk away, so coming by train is the safer bet.
