Why You Should Visit

A free outdoor music festival in Itami's Koyaike Park, billed as one of the largest of its kind in Kansai. Around 25,000 people come across the two days, and alongside the live music the park fills with food stalls, markets and programmes aimed at children. The organisers describe it as a "borderless citizens' culture festival": roughly 800 people, from preschoolers to the elderly, take part in making it happen. 2026 marks its 13th year.

access: From stop 4 in front of JR Itami Station or Hankyu Itami Station, take the city bus bound for Nishino Mukogawa Center-mae. Alight at Matsugaoka (via Matsugaoka) or Koyaike-Koen-mae (via Saibansho-mae).
Roads nearby get congested, so public transport is recommended.
