Why You Should Visit

A summer festival at Otemae Park, right in front of Himeji Castle, packed with guest live shows and festival-stall fun. Over two days the stage features acts including HIPPY, Tani Yuuki and Kenji, plus a local junior-high brass band, the Shirasagi Music Audition and a lucky-card draw. Rows of food stalls fill the grounds, alongside a display of working vehicles, an old-school haunted house and handmade-craft workshops — an easy day out for families.

The festival goes ahead in rain. It may be cancelled if a typhoon or other severe weather is forecast, in which case the organisers announce it on the official site and social media by 10:00 that morning.
