About a 35-minute walk south from Shikama Station on the Sanyo Electric Railway. Buses also run from JR/Sanyo Himeji Station toward Himeji Port. No parking is available, so use public transport. Roads around the venue (south of Route 250) are closed until around 22:00 on the day.

REGISTRATION

A paid reserved-seat ticket is required to attend, and only ticket holders may enter the venue (including the food stalls). As of Aug 31, 2026 the remaining seats are the Central chair seat (6,500 yen), Central free seat (11,000 yen), North inbound chair seat (8,000 yen), East vehicle seat (90,000 yen) and East microbus seat (110,000 yen); box seats and others are sold out.

Highlights

• Over 10,000 shells planned — the largest ever for this event and the biggest in Hyogo Prefecture (further powered up from the previous year)
• Special staging by pyrotechnicians from the Omagari Fireworks, one of Japan's three great fireworks festivals
• Large shakudama (10-inch) shells planned
• Launched from a barge about 300 meters from the viewing area
