Price & booking: All seating is paid and reserved; no same-day tickets. As of Sep 16, 2026 the only seat still on sale is the Central free seat (2 people) at 11,000 yen. Box seats (north, central, south), all chair seats, photographer seats, the East vehicle and microbus seats and the locals-only box seats are sold out. A paid reserved-seat ticket is required to attend, and only ticket holders may enter the venue (including the food stalls). No same-day tickets are sold. Venue & access: Himeji Port (Shikama area) About a 35-minute walk south from Shikama Station on the Sanyo Electric Railway. Buses also run from JR/Sanyo Himeji Station toward Himeji Port. No parking is available and coin parking inside the venue area is closed on the day, so use public transport. Bicycle parking is at Shikama-miya Park, Hosoe Tenjin Park and Shikama Ebisu Park. Roads around the venue (south of Route 250) are closed until around 22:00 on the day, and Shikama Kaido (city road Shikama 194) becomes pedestrian-only from 20:45 to 23:00 after the show.

Why You Should Visit

A marine fireworks display at Himeji Port (Shikama area), with over 10,000 shells planned — the largest in the event's history and the biggest in Hyogo Prefecture. Pyrotechnicians from Omagari, one of Japan's three great fireworks festivals, stage a special show, and large shakudama shells are also planned. Fireworks launch from a barge about 300 meters from the viewing area, so the impact up close is the main draw. Seating is greatly expanded to 35,000 seats, all paid and reserved; ticket details will be announced on the official site.

The Shodoshima ferry leaving Fukuda Port at 19:30 will arrive at Himeji Port around 21:10–21:25; drivers wait in the vehicle holding area until the road closures lift
