Price & booking: Free entry to the festival area. Parking is charged at the resort's own rate, and using facilities such as the pools needs a separate ticket. No advance booking is needed to enter the festival area. Activity corners are handled on site on the day.
Venue & access: Special site below the multi-storey car park at Nesta Resort Kobe, above the pool area About 2 minutes from the Miki-higashi interchange on the Sanyo Expressway, or about 45 minutes by bus from JR Sannomiya Station. On-site paid parking holds about 2,500 cars, with a shuttle bus when it is full.

Why You Should Visit

A two-day festival at Nesta Resort Kobe in Miki, ending each night with music-synchronised fireworks: about 1,000 shells from 20:00 on the 26th and about 500 from 19:30 on the 27th, 1,500 in total. The festival grounds open at 11:00 with food trucks, children's festival games, inflatables, a dinosaur maze, a travelling petting zoo and aquarium, pony rides and a jobs-experience corner. Entry to the festival area is free; you only need a ticket if you want to use the resort facilities such as the pools. The layout is built so you can arrive in the daytime and stay through to the fireworks.

Do I need a ticket to watch the fireworks?

No. Entry to the festival area is free, so watching the fireworks costs nothing. You only pay if you use Nesta Resort Kobe facilities such as the pools.

Is there parking?

There is on-site paid parking for about 2,500 cars. If the lots near the site fill up, a shuttle bus runs between car park 3 and the pool-front stop next to the festival area.

Is there anything for small children?

Yes: children's festival games, inflatables, a dinosaur maze, a travelling petting zoo and aquarium, and pony rides. The grounds open at 11:00, so there is plenty to do before the fireworks.
