Why You Should Visit

For four days, Namba Hiroba in front of Nankai Namba Station is dressed in around 5,000 paper lanterns and giant eyeball objects for Halloween. At its heart is CHIMNEY TOWN, a walk-through art installation supervised by Akihiro Nishino, creator of Poupelle of Chimney Town, with the lanterns lit from 4pm. A free XR experience lets you put on MR goggles and see a virtual world layered over the real streets. Admission is free, so it is easy to fit in around shopping or dinner in Namba.
