A neighborhood festival built around beating the late-summer heat, spread across three venues near Hanshin Amagasaki Station. Amagasaki Castle Park hosts the newly added Aqua Park, with a water slide, slip-and-slide, fountains, a mini pool and giant soap bubbles. Chuo Park 1F holds Amuse Festa — food trucks plus festival-game and retail booths — along with stage performances and a cooling mist zone. AMA-NEST, open only on September 12, is an indoor craft-workshop marketplace. A stamp rally with a prize draw for children through high school ties the venues together, and all three are within walking distance of each other.

About a 5-minute walk from Hanshin Amagasaki Station to Amagasaki Castle Park, the first venue. All three venues are near the station and within walking distance of each other. Parking around the venues is limited, so the organizer asks visitors to come by public transport.

FAQ

When is Ama-Ryo-Sai 2026 held?

Saturday, September 12 and Sunday, September 13, 2026, from 10:00 to 16:00 each day. The third venue, AMA-NEST, is open on September 12 only. The festival is cancelled in case of rain.

Is there an admission fee?

Admission is free. You only pay for the Animal Water Slide at Aqua Park (500 yen for three rides) and for food and goods at the market and food trucks.

Is there anything for children?

Yes — water play at Aqua Park, festival-game booths, the "mopps" movable play equipment, a stamp rally prize draw for children through high school age, and craft workshops at Amagasaki Castle. Since there is water play, bringing a change of clothes and a towel is a good idea.

What happens if it rains?

The festival is cancelled in case of rain. Check the official website or contact the organizer, the Hanshin Amagasaki Station Area Machizukuri Joint Venture (06-6417-5609), for same-day updates.
