It takes place at the Space Theater in Kobe Harborland. The highlight is a fashion show and contest by sapeurs — followers of a Congolese style culture that prizes elegant dress and a peaceful, dignified way of life. There is also African dance, live music and talk shows, plus a market selling clothes and goods made from colorful African fabrics.
