Why You Should Visit

X-NATURE MARCHE, a small market built around natural and organic food, takes over the second floor of Shinsaibashi Message, the Osaka branch of brown-rice enzyme maker Genmai Koso in Minamikyuhojimachi. This round is a Halloween edition, and visitors are invited to come in costume. Stalls include an organic select shop, vegan curries from a Hawaiian cafe, bagels, pesticide-free tea, snacks made with Nara rice flour, tofu and sake lees, and fermented-process coffee beans, plus a workshop where you make your own aroma hair oil. A good stop for anyone looking for wholesome food in central Osaka, or for an excuse to dress up.
