About 15 min on foot from Kaminotaishi Station (Kintetsu Minami-Osaka Line) to the Kasuga-nishi intersection; by bus, get off at Taishi Town Hall or Takenouchi Kaido Kasuga-nishi. No dedicated parking and temporary lots are limited, so use public transport

Lanterns along the road

• About 2,500 lanterns placed along the 2.3 km route, lit until 20:30
• Jizo halls and temples are also illuminated

Evening opening

• Takenouchi Kaido History Museum: open 17:00–20:30 (free admission after 17:00)
• Michi-no-Eki Chikatsu Asuka no Sato Taishi: open 9:00–20:30, with roadside-station-only gelato made from Taishi fruit
• The former Yamamoto Residence in Daido is closed in the evening this year for renovation

Rain

• Postponed to Sunday 25 October if it rains on the day
