Why You Should Visit
"Suiyou Dou Deshou," the cult-favorite TV program from Hokkaido broadcaster HTB, marks its 30th anniversary with a caravan touring six prefectures across Japan—and Harima Central Park in Kato City is the final stop. Enjoy a one-day festival featuring a talk show by directors Tadahisa Fujimura and Masamichi Ureshino, an artist stage, a Japanese-style fair, and collaborations with local mascots. Inside the "Kato Art Pavilion," visitors can experience trick art made just for the caravan and take fun photos. Local food stalls serve Banshu ramen and other regional dishes, and with a nearby autumn festival on the same day, it makes for a full day of Kato in autumn. Great for fans of the show and for families looking to enjoy the park in the fall.
