Why You Should Visit

A street-performance festival at Dobutsu no Mori Plaza on the Kakogawa riverside, where you can watch juggling, magic and pantomime by performers active in Japan and abroad up close. Now in its sixth year, it adds hands-on juggling and cube-puzzle corners supervised by pros, a quiz-and-puzzle hunt called Nazopa!!! that leads you around the venue to a goal, and a marché of local eateries and kitchen cars. Free entry with parking, and an easy full-day outing for families.

Pets welcome on a short leash (no off-leash, no extended retractable leads); clean up after your pet; manner wear recommended in crowds; keep a photo of rabies/vaccination certificates on your phone
