Why You Should Visit

A character-design workshop for primary-school children at Shinkaichi Art Hiroba (formerly Kobe Art Village Center). The first 30 minutes are spent exploring the building for things that catch your eye; then you combine those finds with your own favourites to draw a one-of-a-kind character, which is turned into a button badge to take home. The guest artist is illustrator yuasamini, known for the character 'Mohimohi Pukushun'. Advance booking, 15 places, 500 yen per child (accompanying adults free).
