Shibukawa Shrine Autumn Ennichi 2026

Why You Should Visit

Two evenings of a traditional-style ennichi (shrine fair) and marche at Shibukawa Shrine, two minutes from JR Yao Station, held alongside the shrine's autumn festival eve and main day. Old-school game booths for kids share the grounds with food from Yao-area restaurants and food trucks, workshops for all ages and a drink or two for adults. Eat on the spot or take something home for dinner. Launched last year as a place locals can drop into, it works well as an early-evening visit combined with a shrine call.

Entry to the shrine grounds is free; games, food and workshops are paid at each booth.

Cancelled in severe weather. The day-of decision is posted on Instagram (@akimatsuri_ennichi).

No — organizers ask that you not contact the shrine. Message Instagram (@akimatsuri_ennichi or @tossy_1043) instead.
