Why You Should Visit

Lohas Park comes to Daito for the first time, setting up in Suehiro Park right next to JR Suminodo Station, a park that also hosts the city's larger festivals. Browse stalls of handmade homewares, woodwork, antiques, flowers and gardening goods, pick up natural-yeast bread, baked sweets and organic vegetables, or join hands-on workshops such as pottery, plant arranging and soap-making. Around 14,000 visitors are expected over the two days. Being steps from the station, it is an easy winter outing for families who want to shop and snack outdoors.

Yes. Kids' booths offer things like a jelly-in-a-bottle workshop, bouncy balls and water yo-yos, and Suehiro Park itself has swings, a sandpit and other play equipment.
