Why You Should Visit

A two-day summer festival at Suma Seaside Park with soap bubbles as the main act. Ennichi game stalls and food booths line up, and you can try making giant bubbles yourself. By day the bubbles catch the light against the sea and sky; from 19:00 they turn into a Night Bubble Show lit in colour, free to watch and the high point of the event. On 22 August there is also a sparkler-making session at the Park Concierge building. A good stop with family or friends at the tail end of the summer holidays.

Is there an entry fee?

Entry and the Night Bubble Show are both free, and no booking is needed. You pay at each stall for food and games.

What time is the bubble show?

The Night Bubble Show starts at 19:00 on both the 22nd and 23rd. The lighting reads best once it is properly dark, so arriving around dusk shows the contrast with the daytime bubbles.

How do I take part in the prize draw?

Bring the event flyer to spin the drum. Flyers are handed out from 20 August at the Park Concierge building and around the park, in limited numbers.
