Price & booking: 2,500 yen including tax (cash or e-money, once per person). Includes nine Saketabi tickets and a 1,000-yen special dining voucher. Capped at 350 people per day. No advance booking. Pay at the reception desk on the day and receive your tickets. Each day is capped at 350 people, so reception closes once it fills.
Venue & access: KITTE Osaka, B1 Sunken Garden KITTE Osaka inside JP Tower Osaka, directly connected to the west exit of JR Osaka Station. By car, about 5 min from the Umeda exit of Hanshin Expressway Route 11 Ikeda Line; paid parking is in JP Tower Osaka.

Why You Should Visit

A ten-day tasting event in the B1 Sunken Garden of KITTE Osaka, directly connected to the west exit of JR Osaka Station. For 2,500 yen you get nine "Saketabi" tickets plus a 1,000-yen dining voucher for the restaurant floors on 4F and 5F, then mix and match your own flight from 100 craft beers and 200 sakes gathered from across Japan. The sake booths swap themes and breweries every two days, and on some days the toji (head brewer) pours in person. Finish the evening upstairs with the voucher.

How the nine Saketabi tickets work

Craft beer, 1 glass = 4 tickets
Sake, 1 glass = 1 ticket
Sake cocktail, 1 glass = 2 tickets
Regional snack = 1 dedicated snack ticket

Drinks and snacks

Curated by SAKE JAPAN: 100 craft beers from breweries nationwide and 200 sakes from sake breweries (totals across the run)
Breweries also plan to serve sake highballs and liqueurs
The sake area swaps themes and breweries every two days, and on some days the toji works the booth
Snacks are regional items picked from the antenna shops inside KITTE Osaka
The venue runs low-key background music and a cooling mist

The 1,000-yen dining voucher

Valid until Mon 31 Aug 2026, so you don't have to spend it the same night
Usable at restaurants on 4F and 5F of KITTE Osaka (some outlets excluded)
A "Saketabi guide" with recommended dishes from the participating restaurants is handed out

Do I need to book?

No booking. Pay the 2,500-yen entry at the venue reception on the day and collect your tickets. With 350 places per day, reception closes once they're gone.

Can non-drinkers or under-20s come in?

No alcohol is served to anyone under 20 or to anyone driving a car or bicycle, and ID may be checked. The Sunken Garden is a public space inside the mall so you can pass through, but you can't take part in the tasting.

How long is the dining voucher valid?

It's valid until Monday 31 August 2026 at restaurants on 4F and 5F of KITTE Osaka (a few outlets are excluded), so you don't have to spend it the same night.

Does it run in the rain?

The Sunken Garden is a B1 atrium space and largely covered. Even so, severe weather may change or cancel the programme, so check the official page on the day.
