By car, use the Kataonami Park or Kataonami Beach car parks (both paid). Public transport directions have not been published by the organiser.

TICKETS / REGISTRATION

No booking needed to visit or join the sessions. To enter the sand art contest (built on 17 October), apply via the form on the official page.

NOTE

Programme

• Giant sand sculpture by the Owari Sand Sculpture Federation (about 3 m tall × 10 m wide)
• Sand art contest entries on display (winners chosen by visitor vote)
• Sand art sessions: 11:00 / 12:30 / 14:00, 90 minutes each, no booking
• Beach movement games (Active Child Programme): 11:00–16:00, repeating every 45 minutes, no gear needed
• Wakanoura word puzzle walk: follow a hand-drawn map around Wakaura; solvers enter a prize draw
