Outdoor Yoga Festival & Earth Village 2026

Why You Should Visit

An outdoor-only yoga event held since 2011 on the lawn of Nakanoshima Park in Osaka. With no walls or ceiling, 30 classes take place on the grass over two days. Each class costs 1,000 yen with same-day sign-up and no reservation; there are classes for first-timers and free barrier-free classes. An outdoor market runs alongside, so you can drop by just to shop, eat or get a massage. Admission is free.

About an 8-minute walk from Temmabashi or Kitahama Station (Osaka Metro / Keihan). The park has no dedicated parking; use nearby coin parking if you drive.

There are 12 car parks within a 12-minute walk of Nakanoshima Park Lawn Plaza (under the Hanshin Expressway), and 1 public restrooms within 8 minutes. The map shows each with its walking time.

No reservation is needed; everything is same-day sign-up. Register at the reception desk on site from 30 minutes before each class.

FAQ

Do I need to book yoga classes?

No. Everything is same-day sign-up, and you can register at the on-site reception from 30 minutes before each class.

Can I go without taking a yoga class?

Yes. Admission is free and the outdoor market is open from 10:00 to 16:30. You can come just to shop, eat or get a massage.

Do I need to bring a yoga mat?

You can join without one. Mats can be rented on site for 300 yen per use.

Is it suitable for children?

Yoga classes are free for elementary school children. The market on October 24 has workshops for kids, such as giant soap bubbles and squishy making.
