Minoh Beer Thanksgiving Festival 2026

Dates & time: September 20, 2026 (Sun) - September 21, 2026 (Mon) 11:00–17:00 (gates and check-in from 10:00, last call 16:30)
Price & booking: Free entry to the festival area (park admission required separately: ¥450 high-school age and up, free for junior-high and under). Beer is by ticket, one ticket = 240ml. Advance sets: festival mug + 5 beer tickets ¥3,300 / 3 beer tickets ¥1,650 / 5 beer tickets ¥2,750 (glass sold separately for the 3- and 5-ticket sets). Mugs from the 2025 festival can be brought and reused. Advance tickets were sold on LivePocket from 12:00 on Friday, July 10 to 16:00 on Sunday, September 13 (closed; non-refundable). Same-day tickets may not be sold or may be heavily limited; if sold, around 13:00–14:00. Wristbands must be worn in the venue.

Why You Should Visit

Minoh Beer, the craft brewery from Minoh in northern Osaka, holds its thanksgiving festival once a year. For its 29th anniversary in 2026 the event moves to Ue-no-Hiroba in Expo '70 Commemorative Park, running for two days at the start of Japan's five-day September holiday. Swapping the past three years' Semba Handai Hiroba for a wide lawn in the park makes it easy to spread out a picnic sheet and drink at your own pace. Both days run 11:00–17:00, with about 40 Minoh beers served on a ticket system.

What are the opening hours?

11:00–17:00 on both days. Gates and check-in open at 10:00; last call is 16:30.

Is it at the same venue as last year?

No. The past three editions were at Semba Handai Hiroba; the 2026 edition is at Ue-no-Hiroba in Expo '70 Commemorative Park, and it has also moved from October to September.

Can I bring children?

The venue is a grass plaza and the park has plenty of space for children. Festival entry is free but park admission applies (free for junior-high and under); no alcohol is served to anyone under 20.
