Why You Should Visit

A ten-day "street bar" event in central Ibaraki, covering the restaurants and cafes between JR Ibaraki and Hankyu Ibarakishi Stations. The 15th edition runs November 13–22, 2026. Buy a passport (600 yen in advance, 800 yen on the day), show it at any participating shop, and order that shop's special bar menu (one food item plus one drink) at half price (up to 1,500 yen off) or at a flat 300, 600 or 900 yen. The passport works as often as you like during the period, and with takeout, cafe and sweets, souvenir and bar categories it suits non-drinkers and families too. The shop list and menus are due on the official site in early October.
