Within walking distance of Ibarakishi Station (Hankyu Kyoto Line) or Ibaraki Station (JR Kyoto Line). The office is at Motomachi 2-9 3F on the west side of Hankyu Ibarakishi Station (look for the CoCo Ichibanya curry shop). Use public transport as drinking is involved

TICKETS / REGISTRATION

One passport per person is required. Advance passports (600 yen) are sold at the Ibaraki Bar Association office (Motomachi 2-9 3F) and 18 cooperating shops. Online reservations open in early October via the passport reservation page; online reservations can only be exchanged at the office. Same-day passports (800 yen) go on sale November 13 at the office and 9 cooperating shops. Office hours during the event (Nov 13–22): weekdays 10:00–18:00, weekends and holidays 12:00–20:00.

NOTE

How it works

• Show your passport and order the shop's special bar set (one food item plus one drink)
• Pay at each shop in cash or by cashless payment
• One set per showing; one visit per shop per day, any number of shops during the period
• Passports cannot be shared (same for eat-in and takeout)
• Some shops take advance bookings (see the official guidebook)
• You may be turned away when a shop is full

Challenge

• In 2025 visitors who covered 20 or more shops were certified as "Oni Bar"; the 2026 edition plans to expand the challenge
