Why You Should Visit

A market of bird-themed goods and artwork run by Kotori Smile, a Kobe bird café and bird-goods shop. This second edition takes over Sanchika Hall, directly connected to Sannomiya Station. Makers bring one-of-a-kind pieces — stationery, bags, accessories, plush toys, tableware, food, clothing, toys for pet birds and illustrations — and some will be at their stalls in person. Vendors rotate between the first half, second half and single-day slots, so what you find depends on the day you visit. A good stop for anyone who loves budgies, Java sparrows and other small birds.
