Why You Should Visit

A rare chance to stand on the mound at Hanshin Koshien Stadium, normally off-limits, and pitch under the stadium lights. After warming up with catch in the third-base bullpen, each pitcher throws three pitches from the mound while the stadium announcer calls their name and the pitch speed is measured. Pitchers can be as young as 4, and companions watch from the dirt area of the field. Admission to the Koshien History Museum and one BE-STADIUM KOSHIEN activity are included. A good fit for young ballplayers and baseball fans who want a pitch to remember at Japan's most famous ballpark.

  • Wear comfortable clothing; there is no changing room
  • Taking Koshien dirt home is not allowed
