Why You Should Visit
A 10 km walking event along Kobe's waterfront, from Kobe Airport Island to Meriken Park. You set off with planes taking off beside you, cross Port Island and follow the harbour to the finish. There is no timing; start whenever you like between 8:30 and 10:30, with a 3.5-hour limit. Aid stations plan to serve local snacks such as Kobe pork buns. Alongside the general category there is a family category for groups of two or more, so it suits first-time long walkers and families with children.
