Why You Should Visit

A 2-hour endurance relay marathon at GLION ARENA KOBE, overlooking Kobe Port. Teams compete to complete as many laps as possible on indoor and outdoor courses. The outdoor route offers stunning views of Kobe Port illuminated at night. The winning team takes home ¥100,000 in prize money. Open to teams of 3 or more; discounted entry for junior high students and younger.

FAQ

Can I participate alone?

Participation requires a team of 3 or more. Solo entries are not accepted, but spectators can watch for ¥500.

When does registration open?

Registration is scheduled to open mid-July 2026, limited to 120 teams on a first-come basis. Follow @tottei_marathon on Instagram for updates.

Can children participate?

Children in junior high school and below can join at a discounted rate of ¥3,000 (regular ¥5,000). You're welcome to form a team with your kids.

Will the event proceed in rainy weather?

The event is expected to go ahead in rain since there is an indoor arena course. Check @tottei_marathon on Instagram for any changes to the outdoor course.
