Why You Should Visit

The event area at Meriken Park on Kobe Marathon day, set up for runners and the people cheering them on. Finishers can join a prize draw based on their bib number, with prizes from Hyogo and Kobe, and the park also offers an Arima Onsen footbath, stage events, food trucks and an original photo spot. Admission is free, so it works as a place to eat while you wait for a friend or family member to finish, or to meet up and relax together after the race.

NOTE

On race day the Meriken Park car park (Nov 15, 5:00–24:00) and the Meriken, Kamomeria and Nakatottei bus car parks (from 0:00 on Nov 14) are closed, and there are road closures around the area (Kobe Port U-Park). Come by train. Details of the prize draw and stage will be published on the official site in November.

*Part of Kamomeria is closed to the public 9:00–17:00 on Nov 15 as a runners and staff area
