Why You Should Visit

A free outdoor music festival that funnySkash, a band with roots in Hirakata, has run since 2021 to mark its 20th anniversary. The sixth edition on October 10, 2026 takes over Nippe Park Okahigashi Chuo outside Keihan Hirakatashi Station with 11 acts, from a local high-school brass band and a junior-high light-music club to rock bands and a vocal-school showcase. Next to the stage, five food trucks and 11 market stalls sell coffee, curry, sweets and crafts. Entry is free and the park is steps from the station, so it is easy to drop in for a set or two.
