Kashihara Yume no Mori Festival 2026

Why You Should Visit

One of the largest community festivals in central and southern Nara, run for 25 years with the Kashihara Junior Chamber at its core. This year's theme is "Thank you. And...". The Multipurpose Plaza in Kashihara Park hosts a food market bringing together Nara, Miyazaki and Kashihara (marking 60 years of sister-city ties with Miyazaki), food trucks and an Asia booth, and exhibits by local companies and groups. Kids get a play area with job-experience activities, and the special stage runs live acts, a singing contest and a mochi-throwing across both days. An easy half-day outing for families.
