The rhythmic gymnastics trial in the gymnasium's sub-arena also requires advance booking with limited places. Everything else is drop-in. - Venue & access
- Around Kashiba City Hall (City Hall, Central Community Hall and General Gymnasium) There is no visitor parking; visitors are asked to use public transport. The venue map shows Shimoda Station on the Kintetsu Osaka Line as the nearest station
Why You Should Visit
Kashiba's annual citizens' festival brings together community groups, local businesses and the city office every November around Kashiba City Hall; 2026 is the 31st edition. The 35th Children's Festival runs on the same day. Expect a Kamen Rider Meis stage show in the City Hall south car park, craft and play booths in the Central Community Hall, and sports activities in the General Gymnasium. Collect stamps around the venue to join the bingo game. Admission is free, and it easily fills half a day with kids.

- City Hall 2F Main Conference Room: parent-and-child rakugo workshop with storyteller Shofukutei Tetsuhei
- Central Community Hall 1F–2F: Children's Festival booths — chopstick rubber-band guns, chopstick kendama, Tsuri-tengu fishing game, slime making, sand art (¥100), magatama bead making (¥200), and darts, ring toss and a prize draw; stamp rally sheets handed out at the entrance
- Central Community Hall 3F: Citizens' Gallery 2026 / 6th Futakami Culture Festival (exhibition section)
- General Gymnasium: Sports Festa, with sports activities in the main arena (strike-out, kick target, bubble ball and more) and a rhythmic gymnastics trial and performance in the sub-arena
Fureai stamp rally
- Collect stamps on the flyer and swap the flyer for bingo cards at the HQ desk (11:00–13:50); one card per stamp
- Only the printed flyer inserted in the October issue of Koho Kashiba (published 1 Oct) can be exchanged. Printouts of the PDF on the city website are not accepted
- Bingo cards are limited and end when gone
Cancellation and parking
- Cancelled if a weather warning is in effect for Kashiba at 7:00 on Sun 1 Nov; cancellations are posted on the city website
- 5 accessible parking spaces in the car park west of City Hall (show your disability certificate to the attendant)
- On Sat 31 Oct, the City Hall, General Gymnasium and former Monami Hall car parks (partly) are closed for setup
- The General Gymnasium stops reception and all facility use from 17:00 on 31 Oct and on the event day
