Why You Should Visit

A market held in a former auto repair shop, Kuriyama Motors, just south of JR Hoden Station in Kakogawa. The organizer reopened the garage his grandfather ran for about 70 years as a place for people to gather, and the market has been held there since March 2026. The fourth edition is themed "Harvest". Eleven food and drink stalls serve Sri Lankan curry, fermented soup and rice-flour sweets, alongside 13 stalls for jewelry, indigo dyeing, wood carving, acupuncture and massage. A talk and live show starts indoors at 2 pm, and there is mochi pounding too.

Is there an admission fee?

Admission is free. You pay each vendor for food and goods.

Is there parking?

There is no parking at the venue. It is about 2 minutes on foot from JR Hoden Station, so the train is convenient. If you drive, use nearby coin parking.

Do I need a reservation for the talk and live show?

Reservations get priority. Entry is free, with a pay-what-you-wish contribution and one drink order. Reserve by sending a DM to the organizer on Instagram. It starts at 2 pm, with doors at 1:30 pm.
