Why You Should Visit
A neighbourhood autumn festival run by the Juso community council in Juso-higashi Park. From 4pm there are kids' booths and food stalls: target games, bouncy-ball scooping and face painting, plus roasted sweet potatoes, grilled squid and horumon yaki-udon. From 6pm to 9pm everyone dances around a taiko drum. It shows a side of Juso quite different from the bar streets by the station.
