Why You Should Visit

A market of used books, handmade crafts, art and well-chosen homewares held along the approach and in the grounds of Inano Shrine in Miyanomae, the old shrine-gate town of Itami. First held in 2017, it went on hiatus in 2020 and returned in January 2026. Expect secondhand books curated by independent booksellers, work by makers and artists, and design-minded goods, plus coffee and other drinks, bread, baked sweets, lunch stalls and live music. The shrine has long been the guardian shrine of Itami's old sake-brewing quarter, and its calm setting suits a slow browse.
