Why You Should Visit
The autumn edition of Hanshin Umeda's twice-yearly Hokkaido fair. This time the theme is the harvest: prepared dishes made with sweetcorn and cheese, craft beer that changes daily, and chestnut and sweet-potato desserts fill the 8th-floor event hall for 13 days. There are eat stands and a bar, so as well as taking food home you can stay for a drink and a bite, which has long been the draw of Hanshin's Hokkaido fairs.
