Why You Should Visit

Hankyu Umeda's annual Hokkaido fair, this year expanded across more floorspace than ever. The programme changes halfway: the first week takes travel food as its theme, marking 100 years of Chitose's airport, while the second becomes HOKKAIDO MILK PARK, built around milk and cheese. Alongside live-cooking favourites such as the Sapporo ramen shop Keyaki and soup curry GARAKU, there are craft-maker exhibitions and a Snow Miku Sky Town shop. The hall is closed all day on 29 September between the two halves, so it is worth deciding which half you want before you go.
