GLION ARENA KOBE Summer Open Days 2026

Why You Should Visit

For two days over the Obon holiday, the second-floor concourse of GLION ARENA KOBE opens to the public for free. Inside the air-conditioned arena you'll find festival game stalls, bouncy castles and a petting zoo, so kids get the summer-festival feeling without walking around in the heat. The Kobe Storks fan event STORKS FESTA 2026 runs in the arena bowl on the same days, but that needs a separate ticket. Entry to the open days themselves costs nothing — you only pay when you use an attraction. A good option for families on a day that's too hot or too wet for the park.

About 15 minutes on foot from Hankyu / Hanshin Kobe-Sannomiya Station, or take the TOTTEI LINER shuttle bus. By car, about 5 minutes from the Kyobashi ramp of Hanshin Expressway Route 3 (arena parking ¥2,000 per car per day, cash on the day, first-come first-served).

Do I need a ticket to get in?

The open days on the 2F concourse are free to enter. You only pay when you use the stalls, bouncy castles or petting zoo. Watching STORKS FESTA 2026 inside the arena bowl requires a separate ticket.

Is it suitable for small children?

Yes — there are bouncy castles and a petting zoo, so preschoolers can join in. It's all indoors and air-conditioned, so you can take breaks out of the heat.

Can I drive there?

From August 14 to 16 the arena car park is open to the public from 10:00 to 21:30 at ¥2,000 per car per day (cash at the gate, first-come first-served). Spaces are limited, so public transport is worth considering.
