cost: Free to enter; pay at each stall
Venue & access: Shopping streets north of Fuse Station (Brandolli Fuse 1–4) Right by Fuse Station (Kintetsu Nara and Osaka lines) — the arcade runs north from the west side of the station. The street closes to traffic, so there is no event parking; use nearby coin lots if you drive.

There are 12 car parks within a 12-minute walk of Shopping streets north of Fuse Station (Brandolli Fuse 1–4). The map shows each with its walking time.

Why You Should Visit

A Fuse summer fixture since 1980, now in its 43rd year, with three nights left: 8 and 22 August and 5 September. More than 100 stalls line a 600-metre arcade — and they are run by the shopkeepers themselves rather than travelling vendors, so it is goldfish scooping, ring toss, cotton candy and shaved ice in the old style. The arcade roof makes for easy walking after dark, and it starts right outside Kintetsu Fuse Station.

Which dates are left?

Three Saturdays remain: 8 and 22 August and 5 September. The 25 July session is over. Each runs 18:00 to 21:00.

Is it good for kids?

Very much — goldfish scooping, ring toss and lucky draws make up most of it. Being under an arcade roof also shelters you from sun and light rain.
