About 5 minutes on foot from Takayasu Station on the Kintetsu Osaka Line. There is no parking at or near the venue

Some activities are allocated by online lottery in advance.

・Lottery activities at Takayasu: two-shot photo with Shimakaze before departure / try the master controller (elementary age and under) / kids' conductor experience (elementary age and under) / Kintetsu quiz for junior high students (31 Oct) and elementary students (1 Nov) / train wash ride / driving simulator (elementary age and under) / junior train inspector brake test (elementary age and under) / station announcement contest (elementary school children only)

The Raku charter train ride tour (Takayasu–Goido, 3 round trips a day, 1,000 yen) is sold online only through the Kintetsu travel booking centre.

NOTE

Main attractions at Takayasu

• Kids' fair (ball pool, shooting gallery, ring toss and more)
• Try train brakes, destination displays and switches; driver's cab cut model; award headmark display
• Cable car model driving and Katsuragisan Ropeway model (elementary age and under)
• Assemble and take home a train hand strap
• Kintetsu Bus vehicle display, station stamps, photo spots (Hinotori, Shimakaze)
• Yao City PR booth, Hanazono Kintetsu Liners, railway goods (Kintetsu, Kintetsu Rolling Stock Engineering and others)
• Food (the depot canteen from 11:00, Maneki bento and Maisen sandwiches, Maneki ekisoba from a kitchen car and more)

Day-only exhibitors

• Sat 31 Oct only: Yao Police Station vehicles
• Sun 1 Nov only: Japan Ground Self-Defense Force Camp Yao vehicles

Goido venue

• On the same two days the festival is also held at Goido Depot in Kashiba, Nara, with a 40-ton crane demonstration and more: Kintetsu Railway Festival at Goido

*No smoking anywhere at the venue. Pets are not allowed (assistance dogs welcome)

*Children of primary school age and under must be accompanied by a guardian
