By car, about 15 minutes from the Sumoto IC on the Kobe-Awaji-Naruto Expressway to central Sumoto when traffic is light. By public transport, take a highway bus from JR Sannomiya Station to Sumoto Bus Center (about 80 minutes).

Paid viewing areas are on sale through akippa (the Sumoto-residents presale ended on 31 August; general sales opened at 10:00 on 1 September and close once the allocation sells out). The reservation-only temporary car parks are also booked through akippa (a service fee is charged on top of the parking fee).

• Spaces for people with disabilities and wheelchair users are at No. 2 Elementary School grounds

* Tour buses cannot use the temporary car parks. Do not park at nearby facilities or on the street.

* The organisers warn that on the day, driving from the temporary car parks back to the Sumoto IC may take 3–4 hours because of congestion.
